My Story
I grew up surrounded by family in medicine, hearing daily stories about the complexities of the healthcare system. In undergrad, I was drawn to tech innovation and explored UX design, creative computation, and research. I was energized by the creative problem-solving and multidisciplinary nature of product design.
Meanwhile, I dipped my toes in healthcare, which exposed me to real systemic challenges - from socioeconomic barriers, and patient frustrations in affordability and access, to administrative burden on physicians.
Using tools like Telehealth platforms, EMRs, ultrasounds, CGMs, sensors and more, I saw the immense potential for tech to improve care delivery. Yet I saw how these tools were wrought with outdated software, usability issues for patients and physicians, and misunderstandings of real clinical workflows.
Since then, I’ve been eager to help solve these challenges at a bigger scale than a single clinic. I see the future of tech as one that advances more personalized, accessible, and empowering care models.
In my free time, you might find me enjoying nature, trying a new recipe, playing around with my film camera, or going to a live music event.
I also love keeping my mind active and putting on a new podcast or Netflix documentary about anything to do with politics, tech and neuroscience.
